In addition, they contain discrete inputs and outputs with galvanic isolation, which allows them to be used in various process control systems. Due to the presence of RS‑232 and RS‑485 interfaces with galvanic isolation, as well as their structural design and internal command system, the devices can be networked and used by an external device (computer) located at a distance of up to 1 km from the devices, as separate weight indicators , separate digital input devices and separate digital output devices. At the request of the customer, Primex controllers can be made with a stainless steel front panel (IP65 design), which allows them to be used in the medical and food industries.
